Sensor Rollers
The integrated tension measuring rollers of the OWL400 and OWL500 series are available in single-sided and double-sided bearing-mounted versions.
These sensor rollers are particularly suitable for web tension measurement during material web processing, where constant web tension and highest precision are important. The installation and start-up of these sensor rolls is very simple and user-friendly.

OWL-400N Narrow Web Tension Measuring Roller
The narrow web tension measuring roller of the OWL-400N series was developed for single-sided web tension measurement to cover all areas from web tension measurement to standard applications in the label sector. The "double bending beam principle" guarantees a high output signal with minimum deflection. Less deflection means less run of the web in your machine and therefore a higher accuracy in your control process. The web tension can be kept constant within the entire measuring range.

OWL-400 Cantilever Measuring Roller
These measuring rollers are used for the measurement of web tension at machines with one-sided frame. The precise measurement of tensile force over the entire body width is ideal for narrow, sensitive material webs (e.g. in label printing machines). Different measuring ranges and mounting types cover virtually all areas of application. Precise web tension measurement of sensitive materials e.g. film, foil, non-woven fabric, paper, textiles, etc., ensure a high product quality and minimum downtimes.

OWL-500 Measuring Roller
Our OWL-500 series measuring rollers feature tried and tested measurement technology using double bending beams, combining high precision with robust design. The roller bodies are available in different materials. Roller surfaces can be provided with specific coatings on request (Teflon anti-stick coating, hard coating, chromium plating, rubber coating, ceramic, etc.).
Dimensions and nominal forces can be adapted to suit the respective application. This allows clear indication of web tension variations and integration in the control process.
