Brakes and Clutches
The modular, pneumatically actuated brakes and clutches from we-ma-co are available in different designs and performance ranges. They can be easily adapted to all unwinding stands as well as to the common safety chucks. As the last part of the control process, the brakes are continuously supplied with the required air pressure by the control unit, which keeps the web tension constant during the entire winding process.
OWB 140-180-240 Compact Double Disc Brakes
OWB 140-180-240 series double disc brakes are compact variants of the industrial pneumatic disc brake. They are suitable for light to medium duty applications and are highly precise. Different brake pad materials and friction coefficients ensure a broad performance spectrum.

OWB 250D-300D-350D Single Disc Brakes
The OWB 250D-300D-350D series is ideal for mounting on all standard safety chucks and unwind stands. A simple and modular design as well as an excellent price/performance ratio are key features. These brakes are available in 3 different sizes and can be individually adapted to the required braking torque and necessary heat dissipation. Protective covers are available in appropriate sizes.
